The British National Partys sole member of the London Assembly will
become a pariah as the major parties agree to shun him. As he
launched into a victory speech at City Hall early yesterday, other
politicians left the stage in protest.

The problem with Democracy, is that it is only a skin deep illusion, eg.

As for his victory speech. The Assembly is not the place to make
victory speeches, you do that on election night after the returning
officer has pronounced you the victor and that is no doubt the reason
why everyone else walked out.
