I was about to ask Who? I remember the case now after having a read through
the site.
In my experience of investigations, a fit-up is the easy option for the
police. The CPS
are constantly misled by so-called evidence which is often fabricated.
If police officers were not having targets forced upon them, they might not
lie so much.
If prisoners were not forced by police to admit to other offences, the
clearup rate
would be as low as 18% in some areas. When a person knows they are going to
get
a prison sentence, they will be bribed or forced to admit to a number of
other offences
Taken In to consideration. Known as TICs. The sentence is sometimes
reduced as
the police will say the person has cooperated so much with them. They get a
pat on the
back too.
Police regularly take people out of prison for day trips, they claim
expenses and the
prisoner admits to things they have never done! A number of police were
investigated
for this type of expense and overtime fiddle.
NEVER trust the police - how do you think criminals find out where witnesses
live?
The biggest laugh ever was a TV series called MERSEY BLUES. All about the
police
in Liverpool. The man who run the drug squad was DCI Elmore Davies - later
kicked out for assisting criminals such as Curtis Warren. It was featured
in the show!
