According to http://www.gov.im/treasury/coins/Commemorative.html , the Isle
of Man has a coin commemorating the American War Of Independence! I didnt
do much history in school, but didnt we lose that one?

Then again, maybe they are commemorating the fact that we managed to get rid
of America without having to pay anyone to take it off our hands.

You would willingly pay with your soul if you could accomplish a tenth
of what America has in it relatively short existence. But you need not

You were beaten by a bunch of farmers armed with squirrel rifles and
who were far better marksmen than your redcoats. Nothing to be ashamed
of though. It was, so to speak, all in the family.

Well it was all in the family in that it was in may ways a civil war As
many Americans fought on the British side as on the revolutionary side.

With the spirit of all men are equal ringing in their ears, after the
war the revolutionaries murdered or drove out of the country many of the
Americans who had fought on the British side.
